Benoit found dead

WWE is sad to report that Chris Benoit and his family have been found dead in their home. Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Tonight's Raw will be a tribute to Chris and his family.

I'm at a loss for words. Yesterday the newz sites were reporting that he went home for a family emergency and couldn't make it back for the PPV. Today his family are dead. I'm very confused. And sad.

So apparently Benoit was supposed to wrestle last night at Vengenace, but left at the last minute to take care of a "family emergency". And then the next morning him and his family are dead.

Me thinks there's foul play afoot.

Vince BETTER SHOW UP FOR TOnight. That will get really bad PRESS and much more. This is so f'ed up right now that I am getting the chills when I read about him being dead. GOB BLESS THEM. RIP BENOIT FAMILY. Sorry for the caps I am very pissed off right now and sad. Sorry guys. Well I guess they had changed the angle on VINCE cause he was there.

They scrapped the entire show. It starts out with Vince standing in an empty stadium.

Benoit and family NOT shot to death:

Authorities confirmed that Chris Benoit, his wife, Nancy and their 7-year-old son were found dead at the home on Quarters and Redwine roads in Fayetteville about 4 p.m.

Officials would not say how the family died, other than to say they weren't shot to death.

Benoit, 40, was a Canadian wrestler who most recently fought as part of the World Wrestling Entertainment.

The organization said on its Web site said that Monday night's broadcast of "Raw" on the USA Network will "serve as a tribute to Chris Benoit and his family."

This is all so stunning and I cannot process this event at all through my mind.

He was suppose to be the new ECW champion too.

No matter how he died it won't take away that Benoit and his family are gone.

Everyone in the TNA family joins the entire wrestling world in mourning the untimely passing of Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy and their son Daniel.

Many TNA staff and stars worked closely with Chris throughout his career and we are all shocked and saddened to lose a friend and legendary competitor. Benoit was considered a consummate professional both in and out of the ring.

As details develop, those who knew and admired Chris are shocked and saddened to hear of he and his family's untimely passing.

Please keep Chris and the Benoit family in your thoughts and prayers during this time of tragedy.
