The Big Show done wrestling....?

It was reported previously that Paul “The Big Show” was asked by WWE to make a return and he turned them down. I guess he is also telling independent promotions not to contact him at all because he has no interest in wrestling at all anymore.

This is actually quite some big news. It was rumored when Big Show quit the WWE that he would wrestle for another promotion, more than likely TNA at the time. It would be a shame not to see him in the ring ever again because in my opinion he was the most talented big man in wrestling history.

Paul Wight lives in my area (As does Gerry Brisco and his family among others). I talk to Brisco's son on another forum and he claims being friends with Show (wight). I dunno if there is truth to this rumor or not. But didn't Wight sign his ten year deal with the WWE in 1998 or 1999?

Yes, Big Show did sign a 10 year contract when he came to the WWE in 1999. Last year he took some time off from the ring to heal some injuries. His wrestling at the time was getting sloppy and he was packing on the pounds. He pretty much said some bad things about the WWE and WWE let his contract expired. It is believed Big Show walked out of the company and that got them mad so his remaining contract was terminated.
