Default Abyss wins the NWA Title

He beat Sting tonight at Genesis by DQ. According to TNA rules a title does change hands on a disqualification so Abyss is the new champ.

If you're wondering who Abyss is...

Basically a much bigger version of Mankind (Mick Foley) that loves playing with thumbtacks.

Very suprised he won it. You can't expect a long title reign though with Russo as the booker and Abyss is good but I don't think he is someone you want holding the title more than 2 ppvs.

By DQ though? Geez!

For those who ordered it... How was the Angle/Joe match?

I was extremely surprised to see Sting lose at his first PPV as the champ. I'm happy to see Abyss with the title, though. Not a great way to win it, but whatever. Too bad he probably won't have it for that long...

Glad he won, but a win via DQ minimizes his win.

I was very surprised to see Sting drop the title, especially to Abyss. But, I like Abyss a lot (he is one of my favorite TNA wrestlers), so I am happy for him. I do not expect him to hold it for very long though, which is a shame. But, I understand.
