Cena on The Late Show

The Champ stayed up late Thursday night, as he was a special guest on CBS’s The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. John Cena chatted it up with Ferguson about everything from The Marine on DVD to getting in the ring with K-Fed to Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to WrestleMania 23.

Ferguson was immediately wowed by Cena’s size.

“Look at the size of his fist. Oh my God!” Ferguson shouted, as the crowd cheered. “When you hold a regular fork, does it look like a little corn on the cob fork? All burgers look like White Castle burgers to you, bro.”

Cena shows some comedy, like usual. I happened to catch the beginning of the interview and it was pretty entertaining. However, I am not a fan of Ferguson....yawn

Sources close to Hulk Hogan have confirmed that "Hogan Knows Best" Season 4 has officially started filming, despite reports that Hogan had hinted to ending the series. On a side note, Hogan's 20-year deal (that was topic of this year's "Hogan Knows Best") is a licensing deal, and note a talent contract. Hogan receives money for having his name used in DVDs, specials and merchandise.

There has been talk of some WWE stars appearing as guests on the USA Network show Psych.

The Hogans, the heavyweight champions of family reality shows, return to VH1 for a third season chronicling their adventures. Papa Hulk has all but hung up his wrestling boots except for the occasional guest appearance and is trying to make a name for himself in business, peddling a new grill and energy drink. But his main job is guiding the career of daughter Brooke, who is recording her first record album and hitting the road to promote it. Last season, she was signed to a million dollar recording contract by the megahit producer Scott Storch who promises to make her a star. During the season, viewers will see how Brooke created her album and tried to reach the top of the pop charts.

To facilitate Brooke's record career, the family moves from the Tampa area to a fancy new mansion in Miami Beach. It's a little more chic than Hulk's hometown and each family member will have to adjust to the new surroundings. Linda will spend time decorating the house, meeting the neighbors and making sure her many pets are adapting. Nick will hit South Beach, trying to impress the locals, when he's not out driving drifting cars and trying to join the national tour.

John Cena will be one of the celebrities on ABC's reality show "Fast Cars and Super Stars: Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race." The 30-minute episodes begin airing on 6/7, leading to a one hour finale. Other stars that will appear on the show include football greats John Elway and Bill Cowher, William Shatner (does this guy get around or what?), tennis star Serena Williams and Tony Hawk.

Yesterday on ESPN Sportscenter, a segment was shown with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin throwing out the first pitch at the Chicago White Sox game. It was embarrassing for Austin, as the pitch didn’t come close to over the plate. The show also played a clip with Austin commenting on it saying it was cold out and he needed a warm up. He also said he didn’t deserve to be booed off the mound by fans.

I was just writing to inform you that the episode of Punk'd that features John Cena just aired on MTV in a sneak-preview. It will air officially Tuesday, April 10th at 9:00pm eastern time. 8:00 pm central. The episode deals with something more fitting for Undertaker! You are in for a great episode!

New reality TV show starring Mick Foley:

Following in the footsteps of Hulk Hogan, Hardcore Legend Mick Foley will be featuring in a reality series soon, filmed by A&E, which will be entirely based on Foley himself. Here is a quote by Foley from hobotrashcan.com:

"You know, the people at A&E really sold me on what the show could be. I watched some of their shows specifically and I think that in the same way I was really proud of being in Beyond the Mat, I could be proud of a reality show, especially if it allows me to cover some of my interests outside of wrestling and may draw people into supporting some causes that I do."

Sounds like it will be interesting, I will probably watch it when its on. I like some of A & E's shows, but some of them can be boring. Hopefully Mick will keep it interesting....

The Rock to play Captain Marvel?

Superhero films are all the rage now, and new ideas are popping up everyday. But one film, one character, has been talked about forever – and I mean forever. That would be Captain Marvel.

So who's going to play the DC Comics man of red and yellow – not The Flash? Well, it could be none other than Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Today, during a visit to the set of Get Smart, Johnson was wide eyed when the very idea was brought up to re-team with director Peter Segal in the feature, Shazam!

According to Johnson himself, he's spoken to Pete about the role. "Yeah, he did. Listen, John August is writing the script and he's a tremendous writer, and I'll just wait for the script to come in. But I'd love to work with Pete again, and certainly would want to work with John August. So there's a strong possibility."

Are we going to see The Rock in tights? "Well, knowing Pete, he'd update it and make it fresh," Johnson says. "But that's his question; he's very excited about the project and talks about it passionately. Pete also understands the importance of getting that right; he's a big comic book fan."

What's up next for Dwayne – The Game Plan from Disney and director Andy Fickman. "The movie is fantastic; I loved working on it. Fickman was great! I saw the movie, and it'll be out in September; I'm very, very excited about that."

As for Get Smart... reports from the set will come shortly; it opens in theaters June 22, 2008.

In one of the season finale episode of FOX's "King of the Hill", Randy "Macho Man" Savage was a guest voice for a character that was a body builder. Savage had many lines in the episode.

I seriously can’t stand King of the Hill. It’s not that I don’t like animated shows it is just that is has such a red-neck feel to it that makes it unwatchable to me and it is amazing that show is still on the air; it is not really that funny either.

Its al' right of a show but a waste of my time

WWE Champion John Cena has successfully advanced to the second round on last night's episode of Fast Cars and Superstars on ABC. Cena finished second in a time of 1:52:02. Singer Jewel took first place while former NBA star John Salley took third.
