So since Cena is hurt im sure the WWE Title match will either be a Fatal Four Way Rumble type thing or just Orton vs Jericho or Orton vs HHH.

I hope you realize WWE doesnt take that poll seriously. Those guys wont ever come close to that title.

WWE Championship match

Prediction I think this match will involve 6 or 7 people: Kennedy, Orton, Carlito, HHH, Jeff Hardy, Taker and maybe Chris Jericho. If Jericho is in the match he will win the title. If Jericho isnt in the match Orton will win.

Batista vs Kahli, Punjabi Prison Match for the World Heavyweight Championship

Prediction Batista retains the WHC

ECW Champion CM Punk vs. Big Daddy V

Prediction Big Daddy V wins the ECW Title

Triple H vs Umaga

Prediction HHH wins

Finlay vs. Rey Mysterio

Prediction Rey Mysterio wins

Candice Michelle vs. Beth Phoenix (Women's Championship Match)

Prediction Candice Retains the Womens Title

(from last to first by match order)
  • Randy Orton def. Triple H (Last Man Standing Match; Orton wins WWE Championship)
  • World Heavyweight Champion Batista def. The Great Khali (Punjabi Prison Match)
  • Beth Phoenix def. Candice Michelle (Beth wins Women's Championship)
  • Finlay vs. Rey Mysterio (No Contest)
  • WWE Champion Triple H def. Umaga
  • ECW Champion CM Punk def. Big Daddy V (DQ)
  • Mr. Kennedy, Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch def. Jeff Hardy, Paul London & Brian Kendrick
  • Triple H def. Randy Orton (Triple H wins WWE Championship)

Lets start from the beginning with my review of the PPV

Triple H def. Randy Orton (Triple H wins WWE Championship)

The opening promo was good and i love how Vince changed the topic when the crowd chanted "Y2J!!". Vince changed the topic to so your booing that the Dbacks beat the Cubs. lol

Later Vince says while they are chanting Jericho "Not Tonight" meaning Y2J wont happen tonight.

Now for the match, It was a good match IMO. It wasnt horrible but it delivered except for the ending which was lame. I marked out for HHH's win but i marked for Orton being handed the title in beginning as well. The Overall match was well booked and it wasnt as predictable as you would think which is major points for Vince.

Match Rating: ** (2 Stars)

Mr. Kennedy, Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch def. Jeff Hardy, Paul London & Brian Kendrick

What a wild match. This was good match. From the high flying from London & Kendrick & Hardy to Kennedy's good performance this match delivered. L & K and Hardy made this match very entertaining. I hope we see a rematch of this on RAW tomorrow.

Match Rating: ** & 1/2 (2 and a half stars)

ECW Champion CM Punk def. Big Daddy V (DQ)

Wow this match sucked!!!! It was only like 3 minutes long and the Striker interference was so bad!!! The only reason they had that ending was to extend this Punk/BDV fued. Then when BDV destroyed Punk after the match was smart booking because now it makes BDV look stronger and he didnt even win he match vs Punk.

Match Rating:
1/2 star only because of the smart booking but the match sucked

WWE Champion Triple H def. Umaga

This match wasnt bad but it wasnt the best match. Umaga wrestled a good match and HHH did the same. Umaga is a good worker and made the match very interesting even though we knew HHH wasnt losing this match. The feel of the match was alright, but since HHH was favored (how could you say Umaga would win is beyond my belief) we knew the result pretty much.

Match Rating: **

Finlay vs. Rey Mysterio (No Contest)

Good match! Wow that was a great match to watch. Rey did his high flying style and Finlay did his brawling style and it combined into a good match. It got about 10 minutes and it was just wild. I knew this match had potiential to do well and it did. 2nd best match of the night!!! The Finlay reversals and Rey reversals were spot on and it was just amazing.

Match Rating: ***

Beth Phoenix def. Candice Michelle (Beth wins Women's Championship)

This match was better than their Unforgiven match. It was well booked and it had some interesting moments. Once Beth hit her finisher we knew it was over. Beth won and now i expect her to fued with Mickie James.

Match Rating: * (If you saw the match you will know it deserved at least a star)

World Heavyweight Champion Batista def. The Great Khali (Punjabi Prison Match)

Was a bad match but the fact that it was in a Prison made it better to watch. Not much wrestling in the match but a lot of intensity in the match. The whole Kahli has it in the bag since he made it past the 1st cell, and then Batista rushes back to catch up, and then makes the jump, and wins barely was a good ending to the match IMO.

Match Rating: * & 1/2 star only because of the booking of the match

Randy Orton def. Triple H (Last Man Standing Match; Orton wins WWE Championship)

Best match done by the WWE since Orton vs Cena 1 or if you want to go further, then best match since Taker vs Batista @ Backlash or WM23.

Wow this match was well done and i was on the edge of my seat the whole time. HHH proved he can still wrestle a good match and Orton wrestled this match well too. From start to finish this was good match. The fact that Orton and HHH kept getting up and those very close counts at 9 made the match even better. When Orton reversed the Pedigree to an RKO was just magnificant. I thought it was over but it was and so Orton wins. The fact that Orton beat the Son In Law fair and square means Vince is very high on Orton and i expect a good reign from Orton. All the smart WWE fans were thinking HHH would win and then Orton goes and wins the match. That was a bit expected if you think about it. HHH was already over from earlier in the night and if Orton just loses both matches it makes him look very weak. So it was a little unexpected because HHH is the son in law but they couldnt make Orton look weak as well. So now HHH/Orton fued will probley begin tomorrow.

Match Rating: **** (4 Stars)

Overall PPV Rating: 7.5/10
