Anyone watching this competition? It's been quite entertaining thus far, though the class of the clubs has been Argentina's side. Lionel Messi, Carlos Tevez, Juan Roman Riquelme, Javier Mascherano, Esteban Cambiasso, the Milito boys, Gabriel Heinze ... with a side like that, no wonder others have not been up to the challenge.
Really looking forward to Sunday's clash with Brazil. Promises to be a very entertaining game.

I'm very disappointed in the US, they should have tried to compete. The men's team rarely plays top flight competition and this would have had several good to great teams. Instead we sent the 'C' squad.

Yeah, not sure why we were so eager to win the Gold Cup. So we get to play in that 2009 pre-World Cup tournament (Confederations Cup), so what? We had a chance to show our stuff against top-flight competition, and sent the youngsters out to "get bled", and they got stuck pretty well.
Interesting final match, too. Was expecting an Argentine win; wasn't expecting a Brazilian blow-out. ![]()

definately not a Brazilian blowout with the squad they sent, but they are a strong enough nation they can do that. We should have the top nationals at every opportunity mix in the youth once in a while to get experience, like the quite successful U-20 side
