Default Trouble for SouthAfrica '10

Recent labor strikes have further delayed the contruction of 5 stadia and renovation of the other 5.

There have been challenges for a while with this bid, and these strikes will be another issue facing them. Only two years away, currently NO stadium is of World Cup quality.

Rumors are that if South Africa can't do it the top 3 alternates (in no order) are USA, UK and Germany. France has an outside chance as well, but they might not be able to get the information/media infrastructure in place in less than six months (seen as a drop dead date for a move).
