I believe yes.

A person that was born in the United States, lives in the United States decides to play for team Russia.

If Hammond was of Russian descent this would be understandable, but no, Hammond is American, zero Russian ancestry.

A selfish move by Hammond. Some people have no loyalty to this country. Anything for a buck.

Intelligence,british M-16,and The Mossaud,israeli Intelligence). The U.s. Team Should Have Been Booed Out Of The Stadium During The Opening Ceremonies. Better Yet Major Nations Should Have Protested America's Criminal,immoral,racist War And Boycotted The Oylmpic Games. I don't. If she didn't get a fair shake in the USA, especially after being one of the best players in the WNBA, then I'm all for her going somewhere. She's just trying to live one ofher dreams by playing in the Olympics.

She is unpatriotic, and self centered. She decides... hey, I think I am ALL that and the WNBA and USA basketball passes me by..... So I will play for Russia!

I believe this to be a selfish and childish maneuver and guess what? She did NOT win gold.
