Default Chad Cordero wins arbitration case

Quote:
VIERA, Fla. (AP) — Washington Nationals closer Chad Cordero won his arbitration case Wednesday, getting a raise to $4.15 million from $525,000.
The Nationals argued for a $3.65 million salary for the right-hander, who was 7-4 with a 3.19 ERA and 29 saves last season. Cordero led the majors with a franchise-record 47 saves in 2005 for Washington.

The hearing was in Phoenix on Tuesday, the final day for arbitration sessions

"I'm glad to see it all over now," Cordero said. "I can concentrate on the game a lot more and not have to worry about that."

I am excited to see Chad joining the team again, however I hope he will produce a little better numbers next season. To me last season, he didnt play up to his standards.
