I hear that pretty soon MLB Extra Innings will only be available for subscibers who subscribe to Direct TV and be totally blacked-out for cable subscribers such as myself who enjoy seeing various out-of-town games...if this pending deal goes through (as it seems more likely it will), fans like me are toast! What a fool Selig and his minions are! Anybody hear the latest on this stupid move? At least I'll get to see the Nats games in their entirety via MASN/MASN2.

But this is all the result of the NFL having a similar exclusivity arrangement with DirecTV and they are raking in the bucks in a deal that MLB owners can only dream about. And I'm in the same boat as you NatfanDC, I live in the MASN empire so I'll be able to watch all the games. I'm just looking forward to the day when they'll be in HD. ![]() |
