Nationals agreed to terms with infielder Felipe Lopez on a one-year, $3.9 million contract. It wasn't a tough settlement, as Lopez asked for $4.1 million and was offered $3.7 million in arbitration. The former Red will take over as the Nationals' second baseman with Jose Vidro gone. He's expected to be the club's regular leadoff hitter. |
