I have no problem taking their money, but there's a difference between tolerating them and inviting them. And there's also a difference when the Phillies invite their fans to come on down here.
I've occasionally seen other teams do this (the Cubs did it once for games in Milwaukee before the Brewers started selling out the place on their own), but in my view the intangible cost of getting Phillies fans in the habit of coming to Nationals Park isn't worth the incremental gate value for a few games. |

Yeah, but what can he really do about it, other than complain? The Phillies have as much right to do it as the Nats do, and MLB isn't going to stop them from doing anything that increases ticket sales.
Look at it this way - when we're good, we can do the same thing to the Phillies and invite our fans up to CBP. |
