About a place that no longer exists: Starting yesterday, the Nationals fanbase lost perhaps its best remaining message board forum on the Web. I gotta say, the Ballpark Guys forum deserves a better epitaph than "404 Page Not Found."
I'll miss it. At its best, it was a place for ideas and laughs.

Yes, we can be reasonably sure.

Jeff told us that when he moved BPG from one server to another, there would be some downtime. Anybody who's ever set up a forum or even a (shudder!) blog knows that moving from one host to another is a tedious process.

I'd link to the place on BPG where Jeff said that, except...well, the site's down.

i've been on bpg since 830 this morning & checking on it throughout the day...it hasn't been down at all (for me, at least).

are some of you guys having connectivity issues with bpg? the post count over there is absurdly low today. hmmmmm.....

Natsman is right, It's been up all day long for me. Matter of fact I was just over on it. 6:30pm. Oh well I got to get to the Ballgame. It takes me 10 minutes from my office to the parking lot next to the stadium. GO NATS!!!

It's possible that it's been moved over to the new server, but the change of address hasn't gone through yet for many ISPs. If that's the case, it should be back up everywhere soon.
