Default "Tomb of the Unknowns" arena

Sorry for the first post in the Washington Capitals forum to be so negative (hey, it's a month into FanHome -- if there haven't been posts here yet, there needs to be something negative stated to get the fires burning) but how is their a Washington Capital faithful when the MCI center is so cavernous and so empty?

The game the other night between Tampa and the Caps was a good example... The attendance was lackluster at best for a division rival and the TV cameras were distant, at best, when it came to viewing the action on ice. Is that normal for MCI center?

I've heard a lot of things about the arena and none of them have been positive.. What's the deal?

We heard that there was a crew strike and they had to scramble to get substitute camera people. Got them in after the 1st intermission.

crew strike or not, the arena is normally DOA regardless.
