Here are the Western Conference Standings, going into the playoff stretch here. I will update this list as much as I can. Talk about important games in here if you'd like!

Tonight we got Calgary taking on Detroit and Minny taking on Phoenix. Obviously we want Phoenix and Detroit to pull oput the victories, preferably in regulation time, at least when it comes to Minny! Calgary Isnt that much of a bother, but its still nice to watch them lose!

So with both teams that we wanted to lose, winning, Minny leap frogs from 7th to 5th, and a game back on us and 1pt back of the division lead.

Calgary stays where they are with the victory against the Red Wings! We must win tonights game in Nashville to gain a bit of control.

With the win tonight we gain a 3pt lead on Minny, who has 1 game in hand now.. Lets hope they drop the next one!

Calagary beat Nash in OT so both teams getting points and Minny destroyed St.louis and are 1 back of tying us and 2 of taking over the division. However since Van and Minny are tied in games remaining, we're still in a good spot!

Tonight we got Colorado in action against Edmonton and Stars vs Ducks. Personally I want the Stars to win so we can get that 2nd playoff spot and Colorado to win so Calgary doesnt get in!

Well of course nothing went my way.. At least Colorado got a point in there ot loss to Edmonton and so did Dallas in there ot loss to Anaheim.

Well the Mild pull out another win, good news is that we have 2 games on them, so Im really not worried at this point. We could even afford to drop a game and still take the division.

With our sucky loss to Colorado in OT we still gain the 1pt and take the division lead, with a game on Minnesota still. It'd help us alot if Minny drops there next game!

Calagary also won so they are still 5pts ahead of Colorado, I want both Albertan teams out!

Only game yesterday was Detroit vs Anaheim. Red Wings won 1-0, tie Nashville for 1st.

Since Colorado couldn't get the job done last night against us, nice victory 3-0 btw, they allowed 7 teams to clinch a playoff birth INCLUDING us! Makes up for last years horrible ending!

Minny lost in OT to Calgary, why cant the Flamers just LOSE?

Hmm geuss its safe to say Colorado wont make the playoffs this year! I would have rather had Calgary out, but Im not going to complain!

Of course your new NHL leader is the Detroit Red Wings, not a suprise. Canucks lost tonight to Calgary. Sloppy, sloppy game.
