Telly was traded for Nash and a 4th rounder. This was all about the pick and look for Nash to take Ondrus's place as the energy guy they call up when needed. Maybe even this means Belak getting the boot and Nash takes his place which would not be bad. |

Anyone know how much Nash is making? NHLPA.com doesn't even list him..
Nash spent the whole season so far in the minors where he has 6 goals and 12 points in 19 games. From what I remember of him, he's like Tucker but is obviously less skilled although I don't think he has complete hands of stone so it's not impossible that he puts up some kind of numbers. He's physical and feisty though and I think he should fit well with the Leafs given the kind of hard working hockey they've been playing all season. That said, best of luck to Tellqvist and I hope a change of scenery will help him. In 2002 or so, i bought his rookie card for 10 bucks so I want to at least break even with it dammit. |
