Default how many more embarrassing losses until...

how many more times to we have to get beaten badly before something is done to steer us properly ?

a few spots that are hurting us.....

obviously fergie who created this team, and has put this team in such a pickle cap wise, that we might have to give up yet another leaf die hard (being tucker) just to get out of this ridiculous mess fergie has put this team in

how about maurice? whose tough practices, sure seem to be doing the trick, or calling players out in the media, or benching them

or hell the medicore goalie being raycroft? who at best would be a decent backup, playing the role as a 1st netminder

or a big dumb defender, who is costing us 2 million a year, to gain assists on opposition goals

this team needs a massive shakeup, they need to rid themselves of hacks, in which other teams quickly discarded for a reason

Saddly, your team is in a difficult position, there is no easy fix.

Salary cap blunders, and a slight miscalculation on the effects of the "new" game have handcuffed the Leafs.

As A Hab fan i usually find pleasure in those struggles the Leafs go through, but this is unsatisfying. I much prefer to revel in your bad luck when you are "supposed" to challenge for a cup.

Patience is the only option now. I hope that things turn for your team soon, so you can be encouraged again, and I can resume the friendly ribbing that comes from the antagonism between Leaf and Hab fans.

The only positive is, most people predicted your team would be worse then it is.

Glass half full???????????????????

Wow, just cause the Leafs lose you go no holds barred?!?! Uhmmmm, Gill is having a great season, he was just a +4 Saturday, I guess you did'nt give a rat's ass about that? Sure he had a bad game so did many others on the club, snapping on Maurice is quite a bit immature at this point in the season is'nt it? I'm sure you were on the I Love Maurice parade until the skid!! As for Raycroft he kept that score from being a 11-3, not bad since he was left out to dry? As for Fergie the books still out on him considering there's a cap now, and as to that I think he has done a wonderful job considering the aging Leafs we had at the time, chill out Bro, the Leafs fell to Tenth when they lost seven straight yet moved up to 5th winning 3 in a row? Listen there's stil alot of Hockey left and it's not like anyone is running away in the East? P.S. Tell me what your massive shake-up would be under the cap?? Yeah I thought so!! You are an acute example of a fairweather fan!! It really makes me !!!!

well i feel your sympathy on Rayzor and Gill, but hey I can't say the B's don't have issues, but can't say I'm saddened to see they aren't really lighting it up in Canada.

This is the key point.

Am I happy that they're struggling? No.

Am I glad they're better than predicted? Yes.

Do I like to punish myself by continuing to be their fan? Maybe...

Part of being a fan is suffering saddly.
The Cap era will eventually turn your team around. Now these guys who grew up in ontario will really have the motivation to play here during their prime.
Free agents at what 27 28? can now come here.

Will the loss of Peca spark a trade / UFA signing (Jason Allison perhaps) or just bring up some youth from the AHL ?

I was talking about general concensus, not the drunk guys at yoiur local bar!

Just kidding mbow.

I thought that the general opinion was they were going to be worse, but I cannot say for sure.
The point is, I don't think many people predicted the start the Leafs had. Now they have just leveled off to 500, I think that is where people expected them to hover all year.

Oh, were we imagining a 14-1-2 run with as young a roster as this season's to end of 05-06?
