Default Ex-Jays eligible for Hall of Fame

The complete 2007 ballot was released today. Five ex-Jays on the list. None are likely to get in. I would think Ripken Jr and Gwynn are the likely to get in on the first go. But if you could pick an ex-Jay from this lot, who would make it?

Harold Baines, Albert Belle, Dante Bichette, Bert Blyleven, Bobby Bonilla, Scott Brosius, Jay Buhner, Ken Caminiti, Jose Canseco, Dave Concepcion, Eric Davis, Andre Dawson, Tony Fernandez, Steve Garvey, Rich "Goose" Gossage, Tony Gwynn, Orel Hershiser, Tommy John, Wally Joyner, Don Mattingly, Mark McGwire, Jack Morris, Dale Murphy, Paul O'Neill, Dave Parker, Jim Rice, Cal Ripken Jr., Bret Saberhagen, Lee Smith, Alan Trammell, Devon White, Bobby Witt.

It's not going to happen. But Devo was a great player.

This name jumped out at me: Dave Concepcion.

I can't believe he is still eligible. He should go into the hall of fame, just for the number of years he has been eligible and not made it. I think Kirby Puckett had an entire HOF career since Concepcion retired.

Actually, that's not true - Concepcion retired in 1988, which amazes me, cause he was the SS on the big red machine!

If I were eligible to vote I'd give Canseco one for sure.

I think canseco may have been on the juice. I don 't have any proof, just a gut feeling.

I had the exact same thought, "he's not in" lol. Even Rice but he's been a fringe candidate for quite sometime.

poll showed only like 25 of 125 voters polled are not voting for the big Mac this year.
