I'm not quite sure what you are looking for. Is it some one who's father/uncle and he played for the Jays. Or just some who is a second generation player but who's father or uncle played baseball?

well anne, all I can do is state the obvious, if the question referred to second generation, as in their dad played baseball, there are around 20 of those.

Is John-Ford Griffin, in any way related to Alfredo? If not, I'm totally stumped. I quickly scanned all the yearly rosters of the Jays, and didn't see anything.

Brian McRae fits the other form, his dad played for the Royals, but so does Ed Sprague, Todd Stottlemyre, Jose Cruz Jr, etc....

Does it have to be a major leaguer, or just someone in the organization? Casey Martinez was a Medicine Hat Blue Jay, does he count?

I have no clue other than Alfredo Griffin Lost his Starting SS Job to Fernandez in 1984 and was subsuquently traded to Oakland at Season's end.

Any other Clue?

A prize possession? Is this something like a pitcher 'losing' a no hitter with 2 outs in the 9th? I recall Dave Stieb's, but that was to Roberto Kelly, not a SS. I also remember Roy Halladay's start against the Tigers, the last game of his first season, and someone hit a HR to break up the no-hitter, perfect game and shutout, but I can't remember who that was.

Bobby Higginson broke up Halladay's no-hitter; it wasn't a perfect game.
