Question 2:

I was going another way, but to prove my previous point.

I was by one competitions definition perhaps the greatest athlete of my time, however water skiing, may not have been best suited for me. I created hardship with my team mates by my attitude.

Too easy I guess, point to Anne

Kelly Gruber won the Superstars competition in its final years, Gruber fell out of favor with his "injuries" and then going water skiing.

Question 3

I was taken by the Blue Jays for sole reason of being traded for a prospect. Yet, oddly, I found myself in a Jays jersey more often after that then my other team. In fact, at one time I signed a contract, that really should still be in force today.

Was trying to be a little less obvious than the last one, but moreso than the first, I'll give it another day, but keep guessing.

Rico Carty!
He was drafted from the Indians, and then traded back to them very shortly thereafter....and ended up back in Toronto for the 78 season.

Yes, Rico Carty was left unprotected by Cleveland, thinking no one would take the popular hitter. Jays brass knowing Cleveland fans would cry foul if he was taken, took him, knowing they would have Cleveland brass by the, .... finger. Aquired Rick Cerone, a young talented catching prospect. Carty would later return to the Jays twice, once signing a lifetime contract.

I made sense as a broadcaster, I had a brilliant career as a player, and took the job, if only I could talk as well as I pitched who knows I might have lasted longer.
