I was a rookie last year (I usually only play salary cap) but I gave Ultimate a run for his money and finished second! I put my money where my mouth was and got Frank Thomas and Mike Piazza whom I wanted the Jays to get in the off-season) on waivers, (I would have gotten Nomar too, but he was gone quite early). Big thanks to the supposedly over-the-hill guys!

Aren't we building on last year's teams though? I thought it was a keeper league, and I don't want to spend time on more than one team. (and I like my chances with Reyes, Beltran, Manny and others...)

First post here! I don't visit this board often though, it'd be good if eventually everybody settled on one place...

Yahoo has a good fantasy system, how about using it?

Yahoo is pretty simple to use, as far as keepers, it doesnt have that capability, the commish has to enter them in, and people have to avoid taking them, it takes players who are willing to do a little brain work.

DREasy. Last years commissioner seems to have given up on organizing a keeper league and I have heard nothing suggesting that league will continue into next year.

Since we are forming a new community here at fanhome, it seems like a perfect time to start a new league amonth the posters here.

Okay, its time to start thinking about setting up this league.

How about everybody who is interested PM with your email address.

If you are interested in commissioning the league, perhaps as part of a commissioner panel please pm me your interest as well.

Also please include your opinion on the idea suggested of an email draft.

My personal preference is to have as many catagories as possible. Throw everything into the mix.
I would be interested in being one of three commissioners. That way we could take turns at overseeing the league & we would have someone to consult with on tough decisions.
