The Rangers and Brewers were close to completing a trade of Aki Otsuka for outfielder Tony Gwynn Jr., before it was nixed by Bill Hall's injury.
Personally, I'd do this trade. Behind starting pitcher, young outfielder is our top need. We'll need to wait until Hall comes off the DL to see if it happens, but in the mean time, what do you think? |

Gwynn Jr. isn't that good of a prospect.... i wouldn't do the deal. Otsuka is way more valuble than he is.
He's 25 year old slap hitter with above average speed.. you could get Joey Gathright who's the same player for a box of popcorn and keep Otsuka. |

I completely agree with JMU player, Tony Gwynn Jr. shouldn't be prospected in this situation.
