Default Titans pursue Turner

Quote:
The Tennessee Titans have entered preliminary negotiations with restricted free agent running back Michael Turner and have discussed compensation with the San Diego Chargers.

Turner, tendered at a first and third-round compensation level, visited Nashville this week. Turner took a physical, met Titans coaches and watched film on the visit.

Why?!?!?!?!?!? is the question. How many mediocre running backs does Tennasee want. It seems like they turned into a junkyard for running backs who have the ability to start on teams.
I have always been high on Lendale White and after last season Henry showed he could carry the load. The move wouldn't make sense, and plus they would have to give up draft pick(s)!

Once again I ask why

Well for one thing Henry is a Bronco, not a Titan.

I think the organization wants to go running back by committe. With White still unproven I'm sure they are looking to shore up the postion somewhat. This might be a very good move in the long run. That is if we get him.
