No problem Jester...

So you guys know -- if you go to the User Control panel you can set things like signatures, avatars and such (Waiver, this is so you know -- seeing you without your avatar is throwing me off!)

I know Chad was catching on to RSS feeds and I should let you know that this forum is syndicated (for new threads -- not new posts). The feed URL is:

Is there an ignore feature?

I forgot to cap the o in Oceanic. I guess there's no way to go back and change that. I'll have to delete myself and start over at 1 post. From 3.

I can change it for you. I'm an administrator on here, Chad. I have access to that... and Done.

Yes, there is an ignore feature (go to the user profile and look for "ignore this member" text/link) and more importantly there is a "Report this post" features as well. You see the little triangle with the ! in it? You click that and administration (myself, others) and moderators will become aware of the problem.

Speaking of moderator -- I'll let you guys get settled first and then bring up the idea of one of you taking over the forum. Patrick had originally been listed as moderator but his life has him too busy to be involved.

I want the ability and freedom to ignore who I want, and when I want. So the next time you bring up trading in tickets for a speedboat, you're on "my list."

(the green winking face here looks seductive. It's making me uncomfortable. That, or he has pulp in his eye.)

The orange always threw me off at SunSports. I hated it... Hated, hated, hated it. Chad and I and others used to post on lightning.rivals.com (aka Boltsmag -- Eric Keaton's version) and the color layout there was much better (black, white, some blue).

Hi, folks. Nicer here than I remember it. New software?

If people start posting here, fine with me. I don't care really. Even Sun's crappy board doesn't bother me that much. But whatever; I'll follow the crowd.

Yeah Joe. Big time. Originally FanHome (when it was independent) was on vBulletin version 1. Then for a few years (from october 2002 til November 2006) FanHome was tied to Scout/The Insiders and the site was using ultra crappy EZboards software (which SunSports software is actually better than).

The current FanHome is back on vBulletin, latest version (3.6.4) with a few bells and whistles for social networking and what not.
