You concede the point after everything is presented to you and then you write this?

I still ask you how he will sign in Tampa with their cap being so high.

Cap being so high? We're currently around $6M under the cap. He's already making almost $8M. With revenues leveling off or dropping, the cap max isn't going to be much higher than it is now and certainly isn't going to approach being enough to where that $6M wouldn't cover it easily, if Vincent were to even demand the max.

You know that there is a perception that with the weakening dollar -- US teams strength will expire. That's part of the new reasoning, I take it, that Canada will end up drawing people in... Because the Loonie will be worth more than the Dollar.

**shrug** That remains to be seen how much change happens because of it. I doubt it plays a roll in Lecavalier staying or going though.

I believe the new CBA mandates that all contracts - even for players on Canadian based teams - be paid in American dollars. If that's the case, I'm not sure that going to a team in Canada will make that much difference.
