Cap being so high? We're currently around $6M under the cap. He's already making almost $8M. With revenues leveling off or dropping, the cap max isn't going to be much higher than it is now and certainly isn't going to approach being enough to where that $6M wouldn't cover it easily, if Vincent were to even demand the max.

You know that there is a perception that with the weakening dollar -- US teams strength will expire. That's part of the new reasoning, I take it, that Canada will end up drawing people in... Because the Loonie will be worth more than the Dollar.
**shrug** That remains to be seen how much change happens because of it. I doubt it plays a roll in Lecavalier staying or going though.
