My god, is there a more dynamic line in Hockey right now? Not dynamic as so much performing? Vincent Lecavalier is at the top of his game, Martin St. Louis is a great supporting role member right now....
And Vaclav Prospal is doing what Prospal does in contract years -- CONTRIBUTES.

it's a shame you only see that type of performances from players in contract years, makes you wonder if they play for the love of the game still or if it's only about the money now

With Prospal, I have no clue what it is really. He's horrid on skates for the most part but he's playing with the most dynamic linemates in hockey with Lecavalier and St. Louis. He SHOULD be scoring as was, but had only been chipping in a little on that line last year (55 points as to his linemates)

It's a classic example of someone making an erroneous observation a few years ago and everyone taking it as gospel. Anyone who watches Prospal play can see it's not (solely) money that motivates him. That said, they *all* love their money, some are just more villified for it than others. |
