Bucs release several players...
Quote:
Just as Tampa Bay general manager Bruce Allen suggested last week, the Buccaneers released several players Monday in an effort to make room for the undrafted free agents they plan to sign on Tuesday.
The Bucs released cornerback Juran Bolden, safety Tra Boger, long snapper Adam Johnson and defensive end Kenny Smith.
In addition to those roster moves, the Bucs withdrew their tender offer to restricted free agent Blue Adams, making him an unrestricted free agent.
Bolden, who turns 33 in June, spent the past two seasons with the Buccaneers. He played in 32 games (13 starts), recording 116 tackles, three interceptions, one sack and 22 passes defensed.
Like Bolden, Adams had spent the past two seasons with Tampa Bay. His most significant contributions came on special teams, where he recorded 32 tackles.

Nice to see Bolden gone, as I was never really a fan of him or Adams. Hopefully this means they can resign Brian Kelly on defense, as he is one of the best CB in the league...
