Cumulative Defense Runs

Up until just a few days ago, parties here, interested in retrieving old posts & threads on the Scout boards could do so on a "read only" basis. Now that access is gone; and log-ins bring one to current threads only.

Among the popular threads were those dealing with aggregate defense runs + or minus over a given period of time. One covered 1999-2002; another covered 2000-2005, and I'm sure there were others. Some of the metrics have gone "proprietary;" others seem to have become inactive; and in any event, the topic always lent itself to discusion.

I've selected the 2000 thru 2005 reference for starters, then add +/- 2006 runs, so the final aggregate defense runs saved or lost is for the priod 2000-2006, inclusive.

Bear in mind that some players were active only for some of the seasons, and that the runs presented are adjusted to playing time. Only the best are entered, no interesting in publishing lists or worst.
