When the Red Sox inked JD Drew to a 5 year/ $70 mil deal, Dodger fans were applauding and Cards fans were laughing their butts off. Now the Sox are scratching their heads and wondering what went wrong.
Here's an article from Fox sports today that had me ROFLMAO Drew has the tools, lacks the numbers by Kevin Hench

J.D. Drew. He has the same first name as me, I think the initial name J.D. He did fool me. I thought he would play baseball. That is part of the reason I left why I left sports for 3 years before Mark McGwire brought me back to the Cardinals. Persons like Drew only steal the golden egg and lollygag around the field. Embarassing being a sports fan. Do you wonder why the tickets and concessions are so expensive.
Carney has had a couple good games, but I'm not sold on him. Will he continue hustling, or die when he thinks the spot is his. That is Drew 2. I want to see lasting impact. I want to stay with the young players. I am a persistant person. I love year after year winning. When I'm wrong, I want to admit it. I want to give credit when it is due. I don't mind at all posting blame, when it is due. I want our players to succeed. I suffer posting the bad posts about them not working or not having ability. I would love being able to play baseball. Those guys can. It's not my fault, if they won't. |
