Eaton signs with Phils

I've heard his name to be rumored as a possible Cardinals signing but it appears as though he is headed to Philly...

That's fine. I'd rather put the money toward redoing Carp's contract and signing Weaver.

Eaton and Wells are basically the same pitcher....but the Cards got wells for half of the salary that Eaton is getting. Way to go Walt!

From what I 've read today, Wells and his agent are gambling on a big year in 2007 and using that to secure the "big" contract for 2008-?

Looks like Wells is very interested in working with Duncan. That's a plus.
