The Eck Man!

Boy I love Mike Shannon. The way he announces rubs off. For instance, I have problems calling Izzy something other than the Izzy man. And when So comes to bat I have to call him the So Man. He sure is one tough cookie.

We're at a pretty slow point in the offseason. The new year is soon upon us and we are roughly 2 months away from pitchers and catchers reporting. Walt still has some moves to make in order for this team to be whole and there is still a lot of time to do them. Until then, I thought I'd share a good article from the post. Anytime I think of the Eck Man I have to smile and this article made me do just that

Nice article Kods....thanks. We need to re-up contractually with him soon. Good to see a "regular person" succeed....

I call him "Little David Eckstein" every time he comes to bat. Why?....who knows, but I said it once and it has stuck....go figure....
