I think I have to take my wife to the hospital for radioactive iodine treatment isolation early in the morning. Thyroid. I'll just post this early.

Probables: Braden Looper vs Bronson Arroyo @ 7PM.

Cards win 7-6 on a sac fly by Glaus. Franklin robs Loop of the win. Albert 3-3 with 2 BBs. His BA is up to .357.
Back with the recap shortly.

Cards with their 84th win. 31st blown save by the BP. Just half of those would put the Cards at the top of the division.
The good guys had 15 hits tonight. Albert had 3 with his 36th HR. He has 114 RBIs. Kennedy must want to prove to some team that he rates being a regular. He had 3 hits with a triple. Lopez had 3 singles. He has raised his average 40 points since coming to the Cards. Loop had 2 hits with a back to back triple after Kennedy to score a run. Glaus had 2 singles and the game winning sac fly. Ludwick had a single and the all important HBP that set up the game winner. Miles had a single.
Loop deserved the win but was robbed again by an ineffective BP. He went 7 innings giving up 4 runs on 7 hits with 1 BB and 6 Ks. Motte is making his case for next year. He got his 4th hold going 1 inning giving up 1 hit. He still has a 0.90 ERA. Remember that the only run scored off of him was an inheritted runner that Perez let in. Villone got his 10th hold by getting a GO to open the 9th. Franklin gave up a single and a HR to Valentin to tie the score at 6. It was his 8th blown save. He evened his record at 6-6 when the Cards did the walk off job. To recap the 9th, Barton pinch hit for Schu and he Kd. Lopez singled, Albert walked and Ludwick was HBP. The rest is history.
Tomorrow night at 6:15. it's Wellemeyer vs Harang.
See ya later.
