Cardinals don't have the talent to sustain hot start
There are few on it you would want for your team other than Albert Pujols.
Heck, there might be no one on it you could name other than Albert Pujols.

Additions and corrections are appreciated.

I have to watch this on Gameday. If the graphics are anywhere close to accurate, Loop is being squeezed unbelievably. I'd like to hear from someone watching the game to find out if it's true.

Great job by Loop to get out of an inning that I don't believe he caused. The problem is that it took 23 pitches.

Ewt, Looper has been close, but they are definately balls....hopefully the calls will be consistent.

Looper comes back to "K" Gordon....Schu. with an assist as he pegs out the runner at home for the 2nd out....then Kennedy ranges out to short RF for the 3rd out to keep the Royals off the board....heck of a throw by Schumaker....remember that play later....0-0 after 1....

It does look like the strikw zone is consistant. I'm worried about Loop's pitch count. He's at 41 through 2 and may be lucky to get through 5 at this rate.

After seeing the ABs last night, I had a feeling that the offense was about to break out and so far today, it has.

Passed ball by LaRue lets one in and Loop is up to 59 pitches. 5-1 Cards at the end of 3.
