The pitch count has caught up with Loop and the bases are still loaded with 1 out. We may get to see if Mulder has anything left.

Perez gets us out of the mess. It's too bad that, with a 5-0 lead, Loop couldn't hold on to get his 10th win. It's 5-3 Cards going to the 5th.

Springer on for Perez here in the 5th....(still in the 5th?....long ballgame.)....Perez has been good in his 1st inning of work, but seems to tire if he goes any longer....I know the pen is thin and overworked (Looper didn't help any today) but TLR may consider letting Perez close....

Albert with A BOMB to LF....a 2 run shot (which was caught by Yadi in the pen) for a 9-4 Cards lead....another pitching change for the Royals....we may need the runs if Izzy and/or Mulder throw today....

Keep your fingers crossed for Izzy and his knee brace. I think this a test because Thompson didn't start for Memphis today. Parisi took the ball.

I wonder how smart this is. Izzy for a 2nd inning already over 20 pitches.
