Cardinals don't have the talent to sustain hot start
There are few on it you would want for your team other than Albert Pujols.
Heck, there might be no one on it you could name other than Albert Pujols.

Additions and corrections are appreciated.

Sounds like Reyes will not be starting tomorrow and that perhaps they'll activate Thompson and give him the start according to the TV broadcast.

I leave to walk my Labs for a few and another solid outing by Looper has been washed away....we are just lifeless at the plate....one more chance in the 9th trailing 3-2....

Cards have placed Reyes on the DL and will activate Brad Thompson to pitch Thursday's finale with the Royals.

What? Is this a game they're playing with Reyes or did he actually get hurt?

I was looking forward to his next MLB start. This spring he seemed different. He seemed ready.

Reyes was examined by Paletta and they decided to dl him. He's suffering from inflammation in his right elbow.

According to Reyes, he felt he could go, but Duncan & TLR said that they didn't want to chance it.

I too wondered if it is part of becoming a "conspiracy" against Anthony. It seems they (Dunc/TLR) will do "anything" to prevent him from going to the mound.

Hard to figure out why......

Maybe Dunc just doesn't like a pitcher who "irons" the bill of his cap....

Well its better to be more cautious considering the ridiculous numbers of injuries we've been seeing.

Despite my reservations about him, I am looking forward to seeing Reyes get another shot in the rotation this year.
