Cardinals don't have the talent to sustain hot start
There are few on it you would want for your team other than Albert Pujols.
Heck, there might be no one on it you could name other than Albert Pujols.

Additions and corrections are appreciated.

We still love you Luds. He'll get in via the managers/coaches selection (well at least he better!)

Dave Duncan article
Cardinals' Duncan has team's pitching staff well-tuned - USATODAY.com

On the TV broadcast, did you see the Bob Gibson interview? Very interesting.
He said he doesn't watch any baseball, except Cardinals' games.

Well....I imagine we can admire the Cards consistency....they have now lost the first game of the last 9 of 11 series....if all remains constant we'll come back to win the next 2....too bad there wasn't more support of Piniero's fine effort....

We had some pitching, especially Pineiro.
Pitcher
Name IP H R ER BB K ERA*
J Pineiro 7 7 1 1 0 4 4.02
R Villone
(L, 1-2) 0.2 1 1 1 0 0 5.86
R Springer 0.1 0 0 0 0 0 2.75
J Isringhausen 1 0 0 0 0 0 7.58

I thought we would have had some hitting.

At least Izzy Man pitched well.

I guess the Cards will do like they've done so often this year. Lose the first game of the series but win the next two.
