Plenty of minor league roster moves being made as the Batavia, Johnson City and GCL teams get ready to open their seasons this week.
I'll be posting the info as it becomes available on line. Adam Daniels was returned by the AAA Mexican League and he has been re-assigned to Palm Beach for now. Springfield activated (Rehab assignment?) Dan Nelson and he was sent to Palm Beach also. At Palm Beach, Mike Folli was promoted from Quad Cities, while fellow INF Oliver Marmol was sent to the QC. QC is in the process of making some moves also. 1B Osvaldo Morales has been sent down to Johnson City. In additon, rumors are floating around that several of QC's players will be sent down to Batavia. That could mean a few of the recently drafted ballplayers (June 2008 first year draft) could be making their way to the "flooded" Quad Cities. Check back for updates throughout the day...

It is reported that the Albuquerque Isotopes could not get to Memphis
for the game tonight. A doubleheader at 1PM tomorrow. Two 7 inning games. I plan to be there. I hope that the guys play ball and that I can love the afternoon at Autozone Baseball Park. It was cool out today. I worked in my yard all day. Maybe we won't be cooking out in the sun tomorrow. I hope that you read the Reyes and Haerther articles in this morning's Commercial Appeal.
