The first wasn't our best inning of the year.
- Cardinals first. - Schumaker grounded out, second baseman Weeks to first baseman Fielder. - A.Kennedy struck out. - Pujols walked on a full count. - Pujols was caught stealing, pitcher Suppan to first baseman Fielder to second baseman Weeks to shortstop Hardy. Bottom of 1st Runs: 2 Hits: 1 Errors: 0 - Brewers first. - Weeks was hit by a pitch. - T.Gwynn walked, Weeks to second. - R.Braun flied out to center fielder Schumaker, Weeks to third. - Fielder hit a sacrifice fly to center fielder Schumaker, Weeks scored. - C.Hart doubled to left, T.Gwynn scored. - B.Hall flied out to right fielder Ludwick. |

Does anybody else think they should be able to find a neighborhood Little
League coach to teach some baserunning. They wouldn't understand a word from Lou Brock. Mark McGwire and Larry Walker worked with the batters last week. I bet their embarassed, now. |
