There are few on it you would want for your team other than Albert Pujols.
Heck, there might be no one on it you could name other than Albert Pujols.

This year is kind of a transitional year for the Cards.
It's nice to have gotten off to a winning record, but
in reality, this team is still in a formative phase.

And another one of the pieces from the old team that will
have to be replaced -- eventually -- is Izzy. Oh, what
great years he has given the Cards!

And ulcers, too!

So, in this transitional year, I'd look for the Cards to audition
replacement parts for the closer position.

When? who knows.

But you'd think that at some
point this summer that
Perez, Motte, McClellan, Franklin, and
others will be tried out as Izzy's replacement.
