Wainwright had a bloop single. We can count that a line drive.

With 8 innings and 2 outs, 2 walks called for Berkman and Lee.
K.

I worry about Wainwright having that high of a pitch count.

Seems to always be a close contest between these two....glad the "good guys" won today....Wainwright with 127 pitches? Overuse?....Message sent to the pen?....Hope this doesn't come back to haunt him later in the year....and as AR said in another thread..hope Izzy isn't hurt as he has not been "right" in his past few outings.

Hi guys. Sorry that I wasn't here for the game. I got to see my Mom. She's a wonderful 90 YO.
I'm going to skip the recap since everyone knows what happened. I just caught up.
Tomorrow, it's Lohse Vs. Backe. This one should be fun.
See ya later.
