Last year Quad Cities, Batavia, Johnson City, GCL, DSL & VSL all employed the tandem "piggy-back" starter system. This year it's been expanded to include Palm Beach.
8 starters were paired up on each team. A pitcher would start 1 game and then his partner would follow in relief. The next turn thru the rotation they would flip assignments.
