Default Spring Training @ Twins - Game Thread ST#26

Ft. Myers at noon.
For us - I hope Brad Thompson has his great sinker sinking today.
For them - RH Brian Bass is hoping this is not his last game to pitch.

A view of the rotation and roster.

STLtoday - Solid start could send Thompson to rotation

Maybe Tony won't need a bullpen.

Kind of a "short" bullpen....surely more pitchers were taken....

Recap

The Official Site of The St. Louis Cardinals: News: Cards savor road win over Twins

STLtoday - Unique lineup boosts Cards to 8-4 win

My guy Thompson didn't do too awful. Maybe he gets a chance.
Does he gather splinters on the bench for a week, now?
That's the way it has been.

I will get to see Perez & Reyes in Memphis.
I hope our pitching coach knows that Reyes can throw a real change up.
Otherwise, may as well give him to somebody else.
They told Anthony to throw up over his shoulder dropping the pitch.
That sure did not work. He is not a cookie cutter pitcher for Duncan.

I appreciate all other opinions. I think mine, likely, are minority.
Tony will be a Hall of Fame manager.
If he wins in 2008, if he gets performance, if he handles the bullpen in
a worthwhile way, nobody will be more happy about that than me.
I just want the Cardinals to win.
