Grossman will report to spring training with the Cardinals in Jupiter, FL and is expected to land with either the Cardinals Double A affiliate in Springfield, MO or their High A affiliate in Palm Beach, FL. Explorers President John Roost comments, "Chris has been a first class individual on and off the field in his two seasons with the organization and is very deserving of this opportunity. We wish him great success with the Cardinals Organization." The 25-year-old California native finished his second season with the X's in 2006.
