Default Lamping Leaves St. Louis

Mark Lamping is leaving the Cardinals to take the New York job of overseeing the new Giants Stadium. Post Story:
STLtoday - Sports - Cardinals

It's a shame. Ex-bleacher bum Lamping always made us feel welcome at Busch Stadium. He was the last link to making the atmosphere "fan friendly". And, I'll miss those beers he would occasionally stop by and buy while visiting us.

So long, and good luck Mr. Lamping

Wow! What an opportunity for him. I would consider the chance to manage the building and development of a major real estate property in the NYC area a huge upgrade. Talk about going from the top level to the 'next top' level. Good for him, I have always thought he handled his professional career well. Kudos to him!

A big loss for the Cardinals business.
