Pitching (?)

Miklasz on Lohse (pitching)

Tyler Johnson is still out for a while.

I'm glad that the young guys are getting some innings,
but we sure need some pitching to start this season.
I'd even watch David Wells for a couple starts, and I never liked him.

I'm not too confident with the middle infield.
I don't think Tony will give Brendan Ryan a shot.

Another year with all the Memphis players on the field for St. Louis and both teams lose.

Default Looper

Man, I hate to be so negative in Spring Training, but I am starting to worry about who our 3-4-5 pitchers are going to be. Are we looking at Lohse to be backup for Piniero or is it really Looper?

Wow, lots of runs the last week........

I was reading that Dave Duncan has never been this deep in Spring Training before with this many question marks regarding the rotation. YIKES.

Right now I really wish we had paid to keep Jeff Suppan. Yes, what he got from Milwaukee was considerable for an 'average" pitcher, but he's reliable and occasionally throws a gem, too. He would've made a difference for us last year, and a huge difference this year.
