Cards hold on to win it 5-2. Pitching staff allows 6 h, 4 BB (all Wellemeyer's) and K 11

Top 3 in the order did all the damage today. Schumaker (#1) goes 3-4, 3 R, 1 RBI & 1 HR. Mather in the 2 slot goes 3-4, 1 R, 2 RBI, HR and Pujols (#3) chips in a 2-3 day with 2 RBI, HR & 1R.
