From above article - some nice comments about our friend, Kyle McClellan -

Quote:
Making an impression: It's early in camp, but two less-heralded Cardinals prospects have made an impression on Duncan. Righties Kyle McClellan and Blake Hawksworth, neither of whom was invited to the minicamp, have impressed the pitching coach.

"I watch a guy like McClellan, as little experience as he has, I watch him and I go,'Wow,'" Duncan said. "This guy's got really good stuff, and everything he throws is around the strike zone. This guy, he's got my attention right now."

McClellan came through the lower levels of the system as a starter, but missed most of 2006 due to injury. He bounced back with an outstanding season in relief in '07.
In the Post paper (home delivered), Duncan is also quoted as saying that he would like to see Kyle as a starter, to see how well he could do.
