What influenced the change of the New York Giants jersey's from the bold blue uniforms to these throwback monstrosities that they are wearing now?

I could understand them using the NY logo instead of the GIANTS logo on their helmets, but their uniforms now look like tattered rags when they play compared to what they were wearing during the 1980's and early 1990's.

I believe there was a study that said the NY logo the Giants are now using on their helmets was the most popular non used logo in sports -- that is why they brought it back.

But I am not a big fan of the throwback jersey's becoming the everyday uniforms for some teams like this.

I like the old-style Giants unis. Football isn't a game for fancy-pants fashionistas.

I like their current homes, but I think their prior white jerseys were better than the ones they have now.

I'm the exact opposite.. I love the whites they wear now. I'm not a fan of the red though..

Can't stand the red jersey though.

See, now i prefer the current Giant jerseys - then again i enjoy throwbacks as a whole, and i find those unis have much more character and style then the bland 80s and 90s Giants uniforms....

.... if you have very low uniform expectations.

I mean, honestly - that's basically dissing neo-classics from Green Bay, Montreal (Canadiens), etc. Oh, the Giants are a classic all of there own but then again? The muted-color uniform you just presented is a throw-away set of jerseys.
