Red Wings Concept

First of all, to avoid confusion, I used to call myself EggTroopa, but my new moniker will be BigRed618 from now on. For my newest concept, I'm taking on the untouchable Red Wings. For now, all I have is a logo:

The falcon on the crest is a nod to the days when they were called the Falcons. I thought this was good because wings are already closely associated with falcons. The two bars reflect the striping design that will be on the jerseys when I finish them. The "V" thing on top is a nod to Detroit's motor car industry, of course, and the ten crowns are for their ten Stanley Cups.

Let me know what you think. I'll have jerseys done soon.

knowing it will never happen... I like it. The coat-of-arms look especially. I don't know if it woudl ever sell jersey's but it's certainly fresh and original.

I like this. It would make a great alternate crest. If the Rangers can break from tradition with an alternate, I don't see why the Red Wings can't.
The only change I would suggest would be to add an eleventh crown, in honour of their 1924-25 Stanley Cup championship as the Victoria Cougars.
