I know the Seahawks will fighting for a playoff spot, but I don't think it was that smart to have Alexander play the last few games of the season. They should have been thinking about next season, last season's team was not that outstanding compared to the Super Bowl runner-up team. He is a workhorse though, you have to give Shaun that. Hopefully he will be back healthy next season ![]()

He said that he has refused to get an XRay so far this offseason (KJR interview). He has been running and planting for aggressive cuts. Considering that he is a cut-back style runner this could be a problem, but I have a feeling it won't.
Shaun wants his TD record back, that was rather apparent from his interview as well. He likes the new, young O-Line as well. I think with the improved receiver core the passing game will be much stronger as well. Much less of 8 men in the box for the 2007 season. With Branch, Hackett and Ingram as a great three WR set and my expectation to see a much improved Burleson and occaissional appearances of Seneca Wallace I'm excited to see the classic Shaun Alexander. The one where everyone complains that he doesn't try hard enough, yet he winds up in the top three for rushing and rushing TDs.

I'm sorry I left for a while. I needed a vaction, and then work changed substantially. I'm over 50 hour weeks, plus two hours a day of commuting time. A few weeks ago I launched my own blog about Seattle Sounders FC and Life in Puget Sound. I won't be by these parts often as my focus has changed. Sorry about the unannounced retirement. |
